Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GadgetLab AI Video Factory (the "Service") handles data. The Service is a private, self-hosted tool used only by GadgetLab.

Data we receive from TikTok

• Your TikTok open ID, username and display name (scope user.info.basic).
• Access and refresh tokens that let the Service publish videos you request (scope video.publish).
• Publishing settings TikTok returns (privacy options, and whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed), plus post status and post IDs.

Other data

We store the text ideas you send, the prompts, images, videos and captions generated from them, and the Telegram chat ID that receives status updates.

How we use it

Only to generate content and publish it to your own connected account when you request it, and to report progress back to you. We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising. We do not access your followers, messages or other account content.

Where it is stored

On GadgetLab's own server, in an access-restricted database. Ideas and prompts are sent to the AI providers that generate the content (OpenAI and Kie.ai), and only for that purpose.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept until you disconnect the app, or until they expire. Job records are kept for operational purposes. To revoke access, go to TikTok → Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions. To have your data deleted, contact us at the link below.
